Being the sad act that I am, I have always had a thing about good looking celebs getting their kits off; it's probably really an interest in voyeurism. I decided a couple of years ago to start making clips of said celebs, which I posted on various forums.

After doing this for a few months I got a bit carried way and decided to build a website to put the clips on. This was really just an exercise in seeing whether I could actually build such a thing, having had no experience with website design. As you can tell from this site, that lack of experience continues to shine through. Since then I've continued to add clips on a regular, encouraged by the positive feedback I get from visitors.

The site is organised into UK/Irish Celebrities, Other Celebrities and then finally Other Clips. The emphasis is on UK/Irish Celebs, with the other sections being more half hearted. To explain further:

UK/Irish Celebrities Section

I wanted to find as many nude scenes of these celebs as possible, even where I didn't have a particular interest in the celeb involved. I search ebay and places like it to try to find older rarer clips whilst also recording anything that moves on current UK televsion on the off chance that some fit bird will get her kit off.

In addition to this, there are some celebs on UK TV who will never get their kit off in a month of sundays, but have caught my eye. I've therefore tended to make clips of these as well, albeit with very little nudity involved (I mean from the celeb; I make all my clips in the nude).

Other Celebrities Section

This section arose by accident as a place to put celebs who have appeared predominantly on UK television but are not UK/Irish born. However, their are a few other things that have gone in here:

Other Clips Section

Probably as a result of my voeuyeristic tendancies, this section has arisen to hold clips which involve nudity fron members of the public who decide to get their kits off in the eternal struggle to get their thick skulls on TV.

Also included in this section are a few clips of Topless Gymastics; three Ex Olympic Romanian gymnasts were persuaded by Japanese TV to do topless versions of the their gymnastic routines. Weird but great.

I have never intended to charge for these clips. I pay for the website, and I pay to source those clips that I can't get directly from TV, but no-one has forced me to do this. In an ideal world, as well as Konnie Huq from Blue Peter agreeing to appear with Melissa Porter in my straight-to-DVD film "Naked Lesbian TV Presenters On The Pull", I would also be able to host all of my clips directly on the website.

However, this would cost me a small fortune in bandwidth charges. I can therefore only afford to host the smaller clips directly on the site for about a month. These clips are also hosted on Rapidshare. The new clips that are bigger in size are instead hosted on Rapidshare and SendSpace.

I can appreciate that many people have a problem with Rapidshare. All I can say is that it's the best of a bad lot; while I keep my account alive the hosted clips will never be deleted. The same can't be said for many of the alternatives, but I'd rather dedicate my time to making new clips rather than constantly re-uploading deleted clips to these other hosting sites.

In the early days of this site I foolishly beleived that if I kept the size of the clips down I would be able to host all the clips on the site. To do this I had to compress the shit out of the clips at the cost of picture quality. As visitor numbers increased I realised I was fighting a losing battle with the bandwidth so I stopped trying to host all new clips here. I then realised that there was no point in making the effort to edit up a new clip, only to butcher whatever quality there was by compressing it down for size reasons. So now, I try to reduce the amount of file compression going on, but this has resulted in much bigger file sizes. The end result? Less of the newer clips will be hosted directly on the site since they are huge. I figure quality of clip should take precedence over where the clip is hosted.

A few other observations I should make about my clips. I edit them down as much as possible. I personally hate downloading a 100MB clip from somewhere to find that there is three minutes of talk, and three seconds of nudity. My clips therefore contain savage cuts, often making the dialogue incomprehensible. I know some people prefer to see un-edited clips to get the context, etc, but I don't; and it's my site, so there!!

And on the subject of sound, when ripping clips to be edited the audio track will often fall out of sync with the video. I can correct this as I edit the final clip but it's a pain. I figure most people are downloading the clips for the visuals and not the sound, so I don't bust a gut to get the audio synchronised. What can I say? I'm just an amateur.

Finally, the quality of these clip is totally dependent on the source. Ripping from video tapes always produces shit results and there's nothing I can do about it. However, as I said above, in the early days I put file size over quality which means a lot of my earlier clips are truly awful. I am intending to redo some of these earlier clips to get better quality versions. Details of, and links to, these "re-done" clips will crop up occasionally in the News section on the front page.
